I’m pleased to report that planning is well under way for our last event for the year – our Henschke Black Tie (optional) Dinner on Friday 18 November.
As you know, the Henschke Dinner is the highlight of our Corks ‘n’ Forks year, and what we’re intending to do this time around is fiddle with the format a bit by serving more but smaller courses of food, which gives us the opportunity to offer for tasting a greater number of matching wines from the outstanding Henschke range.
Details of the menu and matching list of wines will be finalised shortly, at which time we’ll let you have all the details, including the price. However if you’d like to make a booking now, or even just express an interest in attending, the Club’s Events Team would love to hear from you on 8273 2320 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
As well as planning the Henschke Dinner, the Corks ‘n’ Forks committee is also thinking about what we might do next year, and we’d love to hear from you. Suggestions for dinners, tastings, trip(s) away, or indeed anything related to the enjoyment of eating and drinking in good company will be most welcome. Finally, a brief reminder that the Club’s AGM will be held on Thursday 20 October 2016 at 6 pm, and it would be good if as many members as possible could attend. Apart from the formalities, the AGM provides an opportunity for each and every member to ask questions, and to meet fellow members including the Club’s directors. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
