Weddings - Frequently Asked Questions

The RACA offers a valet parking service for up to 40 cars. This is subject to availability and Member parking; we recommend booking a space in advance.

The non-Members fixed evening rate (in after 5:00pm - out by midnight) is $26.00.

The Sir Stamford public car park is located next door to the club and has a fixed evening rate of $28.00.

The Macquarie Room has parquetry a dance floor built in to the room and we also have a portable 5x5 parquetry dance floor, this can be placed at your choice of location in the Victoria Room.

This is provided at no extra cost.

The wines we offer in our Classic and Premium packages are made for the Club by Tyrrell's Wine.

Should you require spirits to be available, these may be purchased by guests during the reception or charged on consumption.

Premium Package - RACA Premier Chardonnay & RACA Premier Cabernet Sauvignon

There are 29 rooms available at the Club, subject to availability and Member bookings. A standard queen room for non-Members is $235.00 (including continental breakfast).

We include a DJ in all of our packages; however, if you would like to provide your own entertainment we are happy to deduct $350.00 from the final cost of your wedding.

We include floral centrepieces in all of our Packages, however if you would like to provide your own centrepieces we are happy to deduct $4.00 per guest.

There are no additional or surprise charges on top of any of our packages. The cost per guest remains fixed unless additional options are requested, or the DJ and centrepieces are not needed.

Wedding receptions can commence from 5:30pm, and will end accordingly based on your chosen package. All RACA functions must conclude at midnight.

It is recommended that you book an appointment with our dedicated Wedding Coordinator, Toni Byrnes, who can be contacted on 02 8273 2320 or weddings@raca.com.au.

The RACA requests that no shorts, thongs and ripped or stained jeans to be worn within the Club.

All you have to do is contact our Wedding Coordinator for availability and request a tentative hold at no additional cost. Tentative holds will be released after two weeks if no contract and deposit has been received.

Upon confirming your Reception at the RACA, you will be required complete a booking confirmation form signed by both the bride and groom.

A deposit of $2500.00 is also required which can be paid via cheque, credit card (1.5% surcharge) or by online transaction.
